Passo Groste (2442m) -> Bocca del Tuckett (2647m) -> Rif. Tuckett/Sella (2270m)
"Sentiero Alfredo Benini": from Passo Groste to Bocca del Tuckett, path number 305, about 4.5 hrs.
Starting from Passo Groste, the path basically moves along the ledges on the wall of Cima Groste, Campanile Camosi and Cima Falkner (1-6), after which you make a 50m (?) descent on a rock face (7,8,9). You continues along the ledge of Campanile Vallesinella (10,11) followed by a very very pleasant walk on the snow of Vedretta (Glacier) di Vallesinella Superrior (12). Afer that here comes the most difficult part among the whole path, a 100m (?) descent on the southern wall of Cima Sella (13-18) with numerous ladders and ropes (some part very exposed!). The descent leads to Bocca di Tuckett where the path ends.
From Bocca di Tuckett to Rif. Tuckett again it is a very pleasant and funny walk (sometimes you have to use you hip!) on snows of Vedretta di Tuckett (19).
The rock face changed to very warm color at sunset (20).
